Galatians

Galatians is a fervent letter written by Paul to the churches in Galatia to defend the foundational truth of the Gospel: salvation is achieved through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not through adherence to the Jewish Law. The core issue was the rise of "Judaizers," teachers who insisted that Gentile Christians must be circumcised and follow all of the Old Testament laws to be truly saved. Paul fiercely refutes this, calling it a false gospel. He argues that trying to be justified by the Law is a form of slavery that cancels out the grace of Christ. He urges believers to stand firm in the freedom they have in Christ and to live out their faith by walking in the Holy Spirit, demonstrating the fruit of the Spirit, like love, joy, and peace.
