Revelation

Revelation, the final book of the Bible, is a prophecy written by the Apostle John while exiled on the island of Patmos. It is a book of powerful, vivid, and complex symbolic visions concerning the end times. It begins with letters to seven literal churches in Asia Minor, addressing their specific struggles. The bulk of the book describes John’s visions of heavenly worship, seals being broken, trumpets sounding, and bowls of God’s wrath being poured out, all depicting a cosmic battle between God and the forces of evil. The book culminates with the triumphant return of Jesus Christ, the final judgment of Satan and his followers, the resurrection of the dead, and the glorious establishment of the New Heaven and New Earth, where God dwells eternally with His redeemed people.
