1 Chronicles 22

1 Chronicles 22

David commits himself to preparing for the future Temple. He gathers vast quantities of iron, bronze, cedar wood, and stone. He instructs his son, Solomon, to be strong and courageous, and to devote himself to the task of building the Temple, reminding him that the Lord will be with him if he is faithful. David then commands all the officials of Israel to help Solomon, ensuring the young king has the support needed to complete the massive undertaking God has commanded.
