David gathers all the leaders of Israel and publicly gives Solomon the divine blueprints for the Temple. David confirms that God chose Solomon to build the house, and he presents Solomon with the vast stores of gold, silver, and precious materials he prepared. David commands Solomon: "Be strong and courageous and get to work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God is with you." This is David's final charge to his son, emphasizing obedience and courage.
