1 Corinthians 7

1 Corinthians 7

Paul addresses questions regarding marriage and singleness. He affirms that marriage is appropriate to prevent sexual immorality, but he advises couples not to deprive one another. Paul states that remaining single allows a person to serve the Lord with undivided devotion. He instructs married couples not to seek divorce, and if a believer is married to an unbeliever, they should remain together unless the unbeliever insists on separating. Paul concludes that remaining in the state in which you were called is usually best.
