1 Peter 3

1 Peter 3

Peter instructs wives to submit to their own husbands, even if they are unbelievers, so that their reverent behavior may win them over without a word. He advises women to focus on the inner self and a gentle, quiet spirit, which is precious in God's sight. He commands husbands to treat their wives with respect. Peter urges all believers to be sympathetic, compassionate, and not to repay evil with evil. He encourages them to always be prepared to give an answer for the hope that they have.
