1 Peter 4

1 Peter 4

Peter reminds believers that since Christ suffered in His body, they must arm themselves with the same attitude. He urges them to live the rest of their earthly lives for the will of God, not for human desires. Peter explains that judgment begins with the house of God, meaning suffering is often a way God purifies His people. He instructs believers to use their spiritual gifts to serve one another and to endure suffering for being a Christian with joy and praise to God.
