2 Corinthians 12

2 Corinthians 12

Paul shifts to boasting about his weaknesses and his incredible spiritual experiences. He recounts being caught up into the third heaven (Paradise), but he refuses to give details. To keep him humble, God gave him a thorn in the flesh (likely a physical ailment). Paul pleaded with God three times to remove it, but God refused, saying, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Paul concludes, "When I am weak, then I am strong."
