2 Corinthians 1

Paul begins by comforting the Corinthians, giving thanks to God, the Father of compassion and God of all comfort. He shares details of his recent intense suffering in Asia, explaining that God allowed it so he would rely entirely on Him, not himself. Paul defends his change of travel plans, assuring them it was not due to fickleness but wisdom. He confirms that all of God's promises are ""Yes"" in Christ and that the Holy Spirit is God's guarantee in their hearts.
