2 Corinthians 3

2 Corinthians 3

Paul contrasts the Old Covenant (Law) with the New Covenant (Spirit). The Corinthians are Paul's letter of recommendation, "written not with ink but with the Spirit." Paul says the Old Covenant, though glorious, brought death and was fading away (like Moses's veiled face). The New Covenant, however, brings the Spirit, gives life, and is far more glorious. Believers can now behold the Lord’s glory and are being transformed into His image by the Spirit.
