2 Corinthians 7

2 Corinthians 7

Paul expresses his deep joy and relief over the Corinthians' positive response to his previous, severe letter. He explains that the sorrow he caused led to godly repentance that produced a sincere desire to make things right. Godly sorrow leads to salvation, but worldly sorrow leads to death. Paul commends the Corinthian church for their sincere diligence and obedience, proving that they are innocent in the matter of the sinful man Paul commanded them to remove.
