2 Corinthians 9

2 Corinthians 9

Paul reaffirms his confidence in the Corinthians' readiness to contribute to the Jerusalem collection. He explains the spiritual principles of generosity: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. God loves a cheerful giver. God promises to supply all their needs so that they can always be generous. Paul concludes by offering a powerful doxology of thanks to God for His "indescribable gift"—Jesus Christ.
