2 Samuel 15
Absalom, famed for his looks and long, beautiful hair, begins to plot a coup. After four years, Absalom claims he must go to Hebron to fulfill a religious vow, but he uses it as a cover to launch a full-scale rebellion. The conspiracy gains so much strength that David is forced to flee Jerusalem with his household, leaving the city to Absalom.
