2 Thessalonians 1

2 Thessalonians 1

Paul begins by praising the Thessalonians for the remarkable growth of their faith and love despite intense persecution. Paul states that their suffering is evidence of God's righteous judgment, proving them worthy of the Kingdom. Paul reassures them that when the Lord Jesus is finally revealed from heaven with His powerful angels, He will bring relief to those who suffer but will inflict vengeance on those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel.
