Acts 13

Acts 13

The church in Antioch, while fasting and worshipping, is directed by the Holy Spirit to set apart Barnabas and Saul for missionary work. They travel to Cyprus, where Saul, now called Paul, blinds a sorcerer. They sail to Pisidian Antioch, where Paul delivers a major sermon summarizing Israel's history and proclaiming Jesus as the promised Savior. Many Gentiles believe, but the envious Jews incite persecution and run Paul and Barnabas out of town.
