Acts 15

Acts 15

A major controversy erupts in Antioch as Jewish believers insist that Gentile converts must be circumcised to be saved, creating division. Paul and Barnabas travel to Jerusalem to meet with the apostles and elders in the Jerusalem Council. Peter, Barnabas, and Paul testify about God saving Gentiles through faith alone. James delivers the final verdict: Gentiles do not need to be circumcised but should abstain from things offered to idols, blood, and sexual immorality.
