Acts 18

Acts 18

Paul travels to Corinth, where he meets fellow tentmakers Aquila and Priscilla, who become invaluable ministry partners. Paul teaches in the synagogue until the Jews violently oppose him. Jesus encourages Paul in a vision to keep speaking without fear. The proconsul Gallio refuses to judge the Jewish complaints against Paul, confirming the legitimacy of Paul's mission. Paul later departs and, before sailing for Syria, shaves his head to fulfill a vow. He briefly instructs the powerful preacher Apollos on the gospel's full truth.
