Acts 19

Paul arrives in Ephesus and encounters twelve disciples who had only received John's baptism. Paul baptizes them in the name of the Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit falls on them. Paul preaches powerfully for two years, performing extraordinary miracles. A silversmith named Demetrius incites a massive riot against Paul, fearing that Paul’s ministry would destroy the profitable trade of making shrines for the goddess Artemis. The city secretary restores order, protecting Paul and his companions.
