Acts 23

Acts 23

Paul is brought before the Sanhedrin (the Jewish council). Paul cleverly causes a massive argument between the Pharisees (who believe in the resurrection and angels) and the Sadducees (who deny them), leading the Roman commander to fear Paul will be torn apart. Later, God appears to Paul in a vision, telling him, "Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome." Paul is then moved under heavy military escort to Caesarea to protect him from a Jewish plot to ambush and kill him.
