Acts 24

Acts 24

Paul is brought before the Roman governor Felix in Caesarea. The Jewish high priest Ananias and a lawyer named Tertullus present their case, accusing Paul of being a ringleader of the Nazarene sect and stirring up riots. Paul skillfully defends himself, arguing that he only believes in the resurrection of the dead, which is the faith of the Jewish people. Felix postpones the trial, hoping Paul will offer a bribe. Felix keeps Paul in prison for two years to please the Jews.
