Acts 2

Acts 2

On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descends upon the disciples, causing them to speak in other tongues (languages). A crowd of people from many nations is astonished, hearing the gospel in their own native languages. Peter delivers a powerful sermon, proving that these events fulfill Old Testament prophecy (Joel and Psalms) and confirming that Jesus, whom they crucified, is both Lord and Christ. About 3,000 people believe, are baptized, and devote themselves to the apostles' teaching.
