Acts 5

Peter confronts them, emphasizing that they lied not to men, but to the Holy Spirit. Both Ananias and Sapphira fall down and die immediately. The apostles continue to perform many signs and wonders. The high priest has the apostles arrested, but an angel releases them from prison, commanding them to preach in the temple.
