Acts 6

Acts 6

As the number of disciples grows, a dispute arises between the Greek-speaking and Hebrew-speaking believers over the fair distribution of food to their widows. To solve this, the apostles instruct the church to select seven men full of the Spirit and wisdom (including Stephen and Philip) to handle the daily administration. This allows the apostles to focus on prayer and the ministry of the word. Stephen, full of grace and power, performs great wonders, but Jewish leaders accuse him of blasphemy.
