Acts 9

Acts 9

Saul, breathing threats against Christians, is traveling to Damascus when a blinding light flashes from heaven. Jesus speaks to him, asking, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" Saul is blinded and led into Damascus. God instructs a disciple named Ananias to find Saul and restore his sight. Saul is healed, baptized, and immediately begins preaching Jesus in the synagogues. Saul later escapes a plot to kill him and travels to Jerusalem, where Barnabas vouches for him to the skeptical apostles.
