Colossians 1

Colossians 1

Paul gives thanks for the Colossians' faith, love, and hope, confirming that the gospel is bearing fruit worldwide. He then provides a majestic description of Christ's supremacy: He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, and the Creator of all things in heaven and earth. Christ is the head of the church and the one in whom all the fullness of God dwells. Through Him, God has reconciled all things to Himself by making peace through His cross.
