Deuteronomy 23

This chapter outlines specific restrictions on who may enter the assembly of the Lord, including prohibitions against those with certain physical conditions, as well as the Ammonites and Moabites (due to their hostility to Israel). The chapter mandates standards for hygiene in the military camp and provides regulations for financial integrity, including strict rules against charging interest on loans to fellow Israelites. It also requires that vows made to God must be kept without delay.
