Deuteronomy 2

Deuteronomy 2

Moses continues the historical review, describing the wanderings and God's faithfulness in guiding them around the territories of Edom, Moab, and Ammon. God commanded them not to provoke these nations, as they were descendants of Esau and Lot and already possessed their promised lands. Moses emphasizes that they conquered the land of King Sihon of Heshbon and the powerful King Og of Bashan only because God delivered these enemies into their hands. This proves to the new generation that God is ready to fight for them.
