Ephesians 2

Ephesians 2

Paul describes the believer's former state: dead in trespasses and sins, walking according to the world. He states that God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead, saving us by grace through faith—a gift, not by works. Paul explains that Christ has destroyed the hostile wall between Jew and Gentile, making them one new humanity, giving all believers access to the Father by one Spirit.
