Ephesians 4

Ephesians 4

Paul urges believers to walk in a manner worthy of the calling they have received, characterized by humility, gentleness, patience, and unity. He emphasizes that Christ gave gifts (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers) to equip the saints for works of service, building up the body until they all reach maturity. Paul commands them to put off the old self (falsehood, bitterness, anger) and to put on the new self (truthfulness, forgiveness, and kindness).
