Ephesians 5

Ephesians 5

Paul commands believers to imitate God, living lives of love and light. He warns against sexual immorality, impurity, and foolish talk, stating that we should walk as children of light. Paul instructs believers to be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. He then addresses marriage, instructing wives to submit to their husbands and commanding husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church, giving Himself up for her.
