Exodus 10

Exodus 10

The seventh plague arrives as God sends heavy hail mixed with fire across the land, destroying crops and killing any people or animals left outside, though Goshen is again spared. Pharaoh admits his sin, promises to let the people go, but asks Moses to pray for the hail to stop. Once the hail ceases, Pharaoh reneges on his promise. The eighth plague follows: a massive swarm of locusts devours everything the hail did not destroy, leaving the fields barren. Pharaoh briefly confesses his sin again, but his heart remains hardened.
