Exodus 11

Exodus 11

God declares that He will bring only one final, devastating plague upon Egypt—the death of the firstborn. This plague will be so terrifying that Pharaoh himself will beg the Israelites to leave. God instructs Moses to tell the Hebrews to ask the Egyptians for silver and gold articles, thus spoiling the Egyptians as payment for their labor. Moses delivers God's final warning to Pharaoh, declaring that the firstborn of every Egyptian, from Pharaoh's son to the servant's son, will die at midnight.
