Exodus 30

Exodus 30

God gives instructions for four specific items required for worship. These include the Altar of Incense, a small wooden altar overlaid with gold, placed before the veil, where fragrant incense must be burned daily. Also detailed is the Bronze Basin (Laver), placed between the tent and the altar, where priests must wash their hands and feet before ministry. The chapter concludes with the requirements for the census tax (a half-shekel payment for every man) and the precise ingredients for the anointing oil and the sacred incense.
