Exodus 33

Exodus 33

God tells Moses He will keep His promise to lead the people to the Promised Land, but He refuses to go with them personally because of their stubbornness, fearing He might destroy them on the journey. Moses, devastated, pitches the Tent of Meeting outside the camp and pleads with God not to send them alone. God agrees to restore His presence. Moses asks to see God's glory, and God agrees, hiding Moses in the cleft of the rock while His goodness and glory pass by.
