Exodus 35

Exodus 35

Moses relays God's commandments to the people, emphasizing the strict observance of the Sabbath as the first command. Moses then requests freewill offerings for the Tabernacle construction. The people respond with overwhelming generosity: men and women donate gold, silver, bronze, yarn, linen, wood, and precious stones. God’s empowerment of Bezalel and Oholiab is reiterated, confirming they are filled with divine wisdom to lead the skilled labor needed to build the magnificent sanctuary and its beautiful furnishings.
