Exodus 36

Exodus 36

The overwhelming generosity of the Israelites requires Moses to issue a public decree to stop bringing offerings, as the people have donated far more than is needed for the construction of the Tabernacle and its required accessories. Bezalel and Oholiab use the materials to begin construction. This chapter details the actual construction of the Tabernacle tent, including the ten linen curtains, the elaborate blue, purple, and scarlet needlework, and the acacia wood frames and gold overlays, meticulously following God’s pattern.
