Exodus 3
While tending his father-in-law Jethro’s flock near Mount Horeb (the mountain of God), Moses witnesses an astonishing sight: a bush that burns with fire but is not consumed. God speaks to Moses from the bush, revealing His sacred name, I AM WHO I AM (Yahweh). God instructs Moses to return to Egypt to demand Pharaoh release the Israelites from slavery.
