Exodus 40

God commands Moses to erect the Tabernacle on the first day of the first month. Moses follows the instructions exactly, assembling the curtains, frames, altar, and all the furnishings in their designated places. After the sanctuary is fully set up, Moses consecrates it by anointing it with oil. Immediately, the glory of the Lord—manifested as the heavy cloud—fills the Tabernacle, so powerfully that Moses himself cannot enter. This visible presence confirms that God has come down to dwell among His people, confirming the fulfillment of the Exodus covenant.
