Exodus 4

Exodus 4

Moses continues to object to the mission, listing excuses like his lack of eloquence and the people’s disbelief. God provides three miraculous signs to confirm Moses's authority: his staff turns into a snake, his hand becomes leprous, and water turns to blood. God also appoints Moses’s brother, Aaron, known for his powerful speaking, to be Moses’s spokesman. After a tense encounter regarding his son's circumcision, Moses travels back to Egypt, where he and Aaron gather the elders of Israel and perform the signs, convincing the people.
