Exodus 8

Exodus 8

God unleashes the second plague, covering the land of Egypt with millions of frogs that invade homes, beds, and ovens. Pharaoh promises to let the Israelites go if Moses will remove the plague, but once the frogs are gone, Pharaoh hardens his heart and breaks his word. The third plague follows—gnats that infest people and animals—which the Egyptian magicians cannot replicate, prompting them to admit, "This is the finger of God." Still, Pharaoh refuses to yield.
