Exodus 9

Exodus 9

God delivers the fourth and fifth plagues. First, swarms of flies infest every Egyptian home, but miraculously, the land of Goshen, where the Israelites live, is completely spared, demonstrating a clear divine distinction. Next, a severe livestock plague strikes, killing Pharaoh's horses, donkeys, camels, cattle, and sheep. Pharaoh remains stubborn. The sixth plague follows: painful, severe boils break out on the people and animals of Egypt, which the magicians cannot withstand.
