Ezekiel 10

Ezekiel 10

This chapter details the departure of the glory of the Lord from the Temple. The glory of God, which rests above the cherubim, moves to the threshold of the Temple. Fire is taken from between the cherubim and scattered over the city. The glory of God then moves to the east gate of the Lord’s house. The appearance of the cherubim and the wheels is described in detail, confirming they are the same creatures seen in the first chapter's vision, symbolizing God's mobility and sovereignty.
