Ezekiel 20

Ezekiel 20

Once again, the elders of Israel come to Ezekiel to inquire of the Lord. God reminds them of Israel's long history of rebellion, dating back to Egypt, and their constant turning to idols. God declares that He did not destroy them only because of His own holy name, lest the nations claim God was unable to save His people. God promises a future day when He will gather them from the nations and bring them to the land, but He will first execute judgment on the rebels in the wilderness.
