Ezekiel 26

Ezekiel 26

A prophecy against Tyre, a great maritime city. Tyre is condemned for gloating over the fall of Jerusalem, saying, ""Aha! She is broken!"" God promises that Nebuchadnezzar will build a siege mound against Tyre, and God will bring up many nations against her. The city will be scraped clean like the top of a rock, and fishermen will spread their nets there. The merchants and sailors will lament the total destruction of the magnificent, proud city that once ruled the seas.
