Ezekiel 28

Ezekiel 28

God pronounces judgment against the prince of Tyre (the human ruler) and the king of Tyre (the demonic power behind him). The Prince of Tyre is condemned for his arrogance, claiming, "I am a god, I sit in the seat of God." God promises to bring enemies to kill him and demonstrate that he is just a man. The King of Tyre is described as an anointed cherub in the Garden of Eden, filled with wisdom and perfect in beauty before his fall. God promises to bring fire out of him to consume him, demonstrating God’s holiness.
