Ezekiel 30

Ezekiel 30

The prophecy against Egypt continues, detailing the severity and timing of the destruction. God declares the day of the Lord is near, bringing a dense cloud of destruction over Egypt. God warns that the entire land will fall by the sword of Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon. The idols will be destroyed, the Nile will run dry, and the economic prosperity of Egypt will vanish. The chapter concludes with the promise that God will break the arms of Pharaoh and strengthen the arms of the King of Babylon.
