Ezekiel 35

Ezekiel 35

A prophecy against Mount Seir (the nation of Edom). Edom is condemned because of its ancient hostility toward Israel and for rejoicing over and invading Israel's land after its destruction. God vows to execute severe judgment against Mount Seir and make it a perpetual desolation because Edom presumed to take possession of the lands of both Israel and Judah. God declares that through this judgment, Edom "shall know that I am the Lord," proving His defense of His people.
