Ezekiel 3

Ezekiel 3

Ezekiel is commanded to preach the scroll's message to Israel. God makes Ezekiel’s forehead hard as diamond to stand against the stubbornness of his own people. God appoints Ezekiel as a watchman for the house of Israel. If Ezekiel fails to warn the wicked, their blood will be required at his hand. The Lord then commands Ezekiel to go to his house and be silent until God gives him a specific word to speak, emphasizing that the word of God is to be spoken only when prompted by God.
