Ezekiel 44

Ezekiel 44

This chapter outlines the strict regulations for the priests and the Temple service. God declares that the east gate, through which the glory of the Lord entered, must remain shut forever. Only the prince will sit there to eat bread before the Lord. God condemns the Levites who fell into idolatry and declares that only the Sons of Zadok will be allowed to approach the altar and minister to the Lord. God gives specific rules for the priests' clothing, conduct, and marriage.
