Ezekiel 48

Ezekiel 48

The final chapter details the division of the land for the twelve tribes of Israel in the restored kingdom. The land is divided by specific measured lines from north to south. A large, central portion is reserved as the Holy District, containing the Temple and the portions for the priests, Levites, and the city. The chapter concludes with the name of the restored holy city, which is declared to be: "The Lord is There" (Jehovah-Shammah), symbolizing God's perpetual presence.
